ISOPURE is a gluten free, lactose free protein powder that, yes, you guessed from it's name, is protein in it's purest form. Now I'm not trying to SELL you the brand or anything, but I have the world's most sensitive stomach and I've been drinking this stuff daily for the past week with NO problem, if that's not a miracle then I don't know what is.
Dubbed myself the protein princess because with my strength training goals in mind, I need to increase my protein intake. Before even wanting to increase my protein intake, I was constantly saying to my boyfriend's meatless meal suggestions, "Where's the protein?"
Research suggests to aim for 1 gram of protein per pound, I actually have no idea how much I weigh, I know my weight range so I picked a lower number of grams of protein to attempt to take in daily. My goal - 120 grams of protein per day, after tracking my protein intake for two days with out shakes, I was CLOSE to my goal, but still falling 30-50 grams short, with ISOPURE I can meet my goal while refueling my body post work out. As for the Muscle Milk, it was Cake Batter flavored, as a gluten free girl who loves cake batter and can never find it in gluten free, lactose free form, I HAD to buy it. Quest Bars are the same premise, delicious and nutritious but free of gluten and lactose, HIGH protein bars that can be turned into desserts! I haven't tried one yet, but I promise to post when I do!
So what are you doing? Beef up your diet and add some protein to get lean! If eating animals isn't your thing then try plant based protein! There's even plant based protein powders such as Vega One and Plant Fusion!
