After munching and crunching on this deliciousness for the past few months, I ran out of my stock pile. In a new city, I still could not find my beloved blue bag, and my mom was having a hard time as well. I was having Ola! withdrawals. Seriously, I bought two other granola brands that just didn't match up to the taste and texture of Ola!
I decided I needed to know more about this glorious granola brand, so I did a bit of research and ended up contacting Dina Houser, the Founder and President of Ola who was a total sweetheart. Seriously, I didn't even realize she was the founder and president she seemed so down to earth in her emails! Not only was Dina down to earth, but the story behind the creation of Ola! gave me nothing but feel good vibes. A brand started with a family favorite recipe, created with the motto, "Happy Good for you Energy Food"

Simple,yet so satisfying, one of my favorite snacks I've ever had! There is just enough sweetness from pure Maple Syrup and Blue Agave Nectar as you crunch your way through this granola, with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Plain, but perfect!
I love to eat this straight from the bag, but other ways to enjoy:
- Extra carbs for your Overnight Oats or Oatmeal
- Added to Greek Yogurt
- Mixed in with your favorite cereal
- Sprinkled on some Wink Icecream for crunch
The smell of cinnamon seeped out as I opened the bag. This flavor has the exact same ingredients as the No Nut Vanilla, with the addition of whole size almonds, which add a nice crunch and are a good source of protein and healthy fats! An excellent combination, making this a completely satisfying snack!
Top this on some greek yogurt and you've got breakfast!

I was hesitant to try this flavor, afraid that the cranberry orange would overtake the taste of the granola, but much to my surprise, I was wrong, and ended up loving this flavor! Oats cling to orange juice infused cranberries in this perfect for Fall combination, mixed with cinnamon in every bite, and the sweetness of Maple Syrup through out, the pecans pack a nice texture to this unique blend!
Playing up this Fall Flavor, try adding to:
- Pumpkin Pudding/Mousse or Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats
- Sprinkle on top of greek yogurt
- Add to Pumpkin Puree spread on a Rice Cake
- Eat by the handful, while playing in a pile of leaves
A blast of banana wafted out as soon as I opened this bag. Crunchy banana chips and large chunks of semi-sweet chocolate are dispersed through out this bag of oats. Maple syrup melds together the oats, banana chips and chocolate creating oat covered clusters of both through out the bag. A decadent combination, that is even suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians! All that's missing is some peanut butter, and you'd have a triple threat of flavor!
- Top a rice cake with peanut butter and sprinkle this on
- Add to a bowl of plain Overnight Oats or Oatmeal for flavor
- Satisfy a sweet tooth with a handful
- Add to Greek Yogurt
- Add on top of banana "nice cream"

*Due to the nature of my IBS, I personally cannot eat bananas, IBS is a complex chronic condition that has different irritants for everyone, bananas happen to be one of my triggers, so after a small sampling of this product, I passed it on to someone who could thoroughly enjoy it! Keep a stash in your car, work desk, bag, backpack, purse, lunchbox, where ever you may need a quick crunch to keep the hangries away! For me, I've strategically placed these packs through out my multiple "to go" bags. It's an easy way for me to always have a safe and gluten free source of carbohydrates with me, food is fuel! And let's be honest, it's not easy carrying around quinoa in your purse, and it makes quite the mess if the container opens up!
