"Oatmeal Cookie" Protein Shake
1 scoop Isopure Vanilla (or your protein powder of choice)
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Cinnamon Almond Butter (see recipe on my blog for this)
1/3 Cup GF Old Fashioned Oats (Bob Mill's is my brand of choice!)
A few extra dashes of cinnamon to your liking
1 plop of vanilla greek yogurt
(I have made it with and without this, it's really up to your liking or if you're trying to get in extra protein/calcium )
8 ounces of water (or you can use milk/soy milk/etc. or do half water half milk)
4-6 Ice cubes
1. Add all ingredients into a blender, blend on smoothie setting for a few minutes, 3-5
2. Taste test it, add more cinnamon if you want and make sure oats are fully blended
3. SIP, or in my case GULP IT DOWN - the ground oats give it a "chewier" texture which is why it made me feel like it was a cookie
