I had been searching for self improvement apps and somehow, found this one. Immediately I was drawn to its foundation built on research done by psychologists and neuroscientists AND the ability to cater it to my happiness needs and wants. An app that was scientifically proven to make me happier? I was skeptical, I immediately downloaded the free version and began exploring. The app was engaging, and nothing like any other self improvement app I had downloaded before! It was customizable to me and really did make me feel happier! It completely embodied the exercise of the mind mentality I have been trying so hard to work on.
The app is in conjunction with the website - Happify.com, which allows you to do all of the features of the app but includes the Happify blog, infographics, and science based articles on happiness! For me, I love to do the app on my phone, and peruse the website for good reads!
So what exaclty is Happify?
Games and activities are selected for you based on the track you choose. Tracks are created to help YOU develop your happiness skills for specific life situations (there's tracks for dealing with stress, coping with anxiety, increasing self-confidence, being more grateful, etc.).
Basically, if it's an area you'd like to improve on, there's probably a track for it!
