I want to inspire and uplift all those females who may find themselves faltering between hiding under that beach cover up or baring their body in a bikini.
Whatever your size, shape, weight, or height, YOU, have a bikini body, you just have to believe that you do. There is nothing more beautiful than a girl who is confident and sure of herself in her own skin.
As someone who has severe IBS, my stomach size waxes and wanes, depending on my food and liquid intake for the day, how recently I've eaten, if I've gone to the bathroom (TMI? don't care!), and if I am in the throes of a flare up. So when the clothes come off, there is a moment of self-conciousness and worry, and then I remember, WHO CARES what others think! As my cover up comes off, with it I shed the care about what anyone thinks of my body in a bikini, besides myself. Others do not know me, and they definitely don't know my situation or the struggles of having IBS. As for you, who cares what others think, because if you feel beautiful and confident to rock a two-piece, than that is all that matters! More than likely, those that will judge you, are just jealous they don't possess the self-confidence that you do. Confidence will get you much farther in life than six-pack abs, that's for sure.

How to Have a Bikini Body
- Embrace the body you already have
Focus on what you love about your body, put on your bikini, and continue to focus on what you love. Everyone has their "least favorite parts" but don't let these dictate your worth or confidence to rock a swim suit. Shift your focus, and remember, our imperfections are what make us unique. What you see as a flaw, someone else may see as a focal point of your beauty.
- Find a bathing suit that YOU feel good in
Ignore those stupid rules that magazines such as Cosmo put out there that claim to help you find the 'Best Bikini for your Body Type'. Why the heck is my body being compared to a pear anyway? Last time I checked, I didn't look like a piece of produce! Wear WHATEVER type of bathing suit YOU want, and that YOU feel good in.
- Play up one of your favorite feature or features
I have a very small chest, but love my collar bones, so I wear bandeau style tops to show them off. (Even though Cosmo says I should avoid this style, cause it will make my chest look even smaller, I make my own rules on what I like to wear) Well-endowed in the top or bottom half? Find a suit that makes you feel sexy and shows off your favorite asset. There is nothing wrong with feeling confident and comfortable enough to highlight your favorite parts! After all, your body, your rules.
- Comparison is the thief of joy
When you find yourself starting to compare yourself to another female, or be jealous, remember, everyone has their own insecurities and she probably thinks the same thing about another girl, or even you! So shift that focus away from whatever that other girl looks like and back to enjoying the summer sun, the cool pool water, or the sand between your toes.
