1 lb. defrosted ground turkey or beef (makes 3 burgers for me)
Garlic Powder - use as much or as little as you like, I use 2-3 shakes
Pepper to season
Ceran Wrap
1. Take chop meat and put into a bowl
2. Sprinkle in garlic and pepper to your liking
3. Mix the meat with your hands (if not all the way defrosted it WILL be very cold)
4. Form meat into about 3 inch by 3 inch patties, making sure they are thicker
(If you like thin patties, make your thinner, I love a thick, big burger)
5. Place burger in ceran wrap, now you have two choices
- put burgers in a freezer bag and freeze for later use
- put burgers in a bag and put in the fridge to be cooked later
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS - Broiling, I only broil since I do not have a grill at my apartment
1. Put oven on Broil, make sure your rack is the closest to the top
2. Put burgers on broiler pan, line the bottom of the pan with aluminum foil to catch the fat
3. Cook on one side 10-12 minutes
4. Flip burgers over, cook another 10-12 minutes
Add your favorite toppings and ENJOY
Tips/Notes
- Depending on how many you are cooking for, you will need to increase the amount of chop meat you use, I typically get 3 patties out of 1 pound, I like my burgers big
- If you want to add more seasoning/flavor to your chop meat, go ahead! I am very basic in the kitchen
- Grill or broil these bad boys, I only can broil because I don't have access to a grill!
